Update 2003 Montero Limited. Aftermarket part defective, replaced w/OEM, it ran, driving home, it died, back it went. Has been in the shop since, they work on it when time allows. Still throwing Cam Shaft / Crank shaft sensors (sometimes together), everyone wants to avoid replacing the Crank. They feel it is an incomplete diagnosis & don't want to throw parts at it, some run time established - now "might" be in main computer. Drove it home Wed, restarted it 3 x, all OK, it was OVER 40 degrees that day, will NOT start at any temp under that. The outside temperature gauge is not working. The only change to vehicle, was moving from covered parking in June, to parking directly under 2 sets of high power lines. We know how sensitive computers can be. Don't know if this has any bearing, but NEVER any problems before this. Grasping at straws here. Any thoughts, random / long shot, previous experience, would love any input. Please & Thank You ! I don't want to give up on my SUV.
