high miles

I have 2000 sport 3.0 Monjero of course, bought new and never changed timing belt. In May 2022 and 316,356 miles it finally broke. Oh, yes this is the first major repair needed on mine. Also let 2 of our kids use it for a while and only blew up the stereo.

I have a2009 minter I sport. Original owner over 245k miles. Minimal issues currently.

I am the Vigil owner of a 2001 Mitsubishi Montero XLS. Not the sport. I have over 250,000 miles on it. It has a small oil leak and the windshield washer pump doesn’t work and needs to be replaced. But that’s about it.

I had a new rack and pinion put on her a couple years ago. Other than that, I keep all the oil changed and she keeps going.

I love this vehicle so much that if the engine or transmission blows up, I will try to find the same make and model and a junkyard with low miles and buy the engine and transmission and have them swapped out so I can drive another couple hundred miles.

I put seat covers that are thick sheepskin one. It was brand new. I still have them because they were custom-made from Australia. I take them off every now and then to clean them. My seats look like they were brand new.

Such a great vehicle

We have a 2002 Mits Montero Sport XLS 3.5 - we are the first and only owners, bought her brand new. 235k miles. We love her lol. She's part of our family. She is tough. Right now we are pretty sure she has a crack in her exhaust manifold, and has for awhile but she just keeps truckin. We gotta get her fixed but not sure we have it in the budget.
