The update arrived today. It's map version 2010A on the disk. I'm contacting the vendor to find out what they're going to do about it. Also contacted a local dealer to confirm the part number and to see if they can assist me in getting the current version.

Here's the torrent link that I've created for the DVD.

Install your favorite torrent client. Then just paste the following into your web browser link, and you'll start to download the files.

Code:
Torrent Link
http://codetrap.net/binaries/MMCS_MZ360377EX_2010A_DVD-ISO.torrent

Magnet URL
magnet:?xt=urn:btih:390BCA9159360A4C6DB1C0DB132ED452836CE40D&dn=MMCS_MZ360377EX_2010A_DVD-ISO&tr=udp%3a//tracker.openbittorrent.com%3a80/announce
I completed the upgrade, and confirmed they're 2010A maps. Mitsubishi confirmed thats what you get right now as they're the latest ones... though new ones might be here in the near future... I'm going to continue with my case and demand they provide me with the newer maps for free on the grounds they lied to me.

I will be unlocking and taking a clone of the drive here probably this weekend, and will make that available via torrent as well.

HUGE THANKS for everyone for sharing all this info. I've been using xboxhdm 2.2 on an old motherboard with a IDE port which allows me to disable the port so it's not frozen and unlock the drive successfully (261UM). I've successfully backed up the drive, and restored it on a Transcend TS64GSSD25-M 2.5" 64GB PATA MLC Internal Solid State Drive (SSD). I've also upgrade the maps to 2010 successfully. Everything for the most part is working.

To connect my drive i've been using a generic 2.5" to 3.5" converter (just this to unlock) then attaching that to a Vantec IDE to SATA Converter - Model CB-IS100 (to connect it to my main machine). I'm using an external power supply to power the drive itself. After my last test, I forgot to unlock the drive before reattaching it to my main computer to do more testing and found that the Intel Rapid Storage has an Unlock Drive function built in. However, I have not been able to use any password to successfully unlock the drive. I know I could always unlock it with my old computer but this would be so much easier. I've tried the following (underscores are actually spaces, I just did it for exactness):

B2BAB3BCB0DFACBEB1BBBEDFB1ADD2CDC9CEAAB2DFB19E8996 DFAA8C9A8DDFDF
EMCL_OASDN_ARN2-16MUN_va_isUre_
MELCO_SANDA_NR-261UM_Navi_User_
b2bab3bcb0dfacbeb1bbbedfb1add2cdc9ceaab2dfb19e8996 dfaa8c9a8ddfdf

(the space between 96 and DF seems to be post related and not something I can fix visually I guess)

What pretty interesting is that the Intel prompt only works for 5 times, after that it says you have to reboot the computer. But i've found that if I remove power to the drive for about 10-20 seconds and switch it back on I can try more passwords

Anyone got any bright ideas on what to try?

Small update to my previous post, the Intel Password Textbox is limited to 32 characters.

Well I got it working... unbelievable. I had to write a program to write the original values which are outside of human readable text to the clipboard to paste the value in the window. In order to get the correct values in the clipboard I had to use Code Page 1252 (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Code_page_1252); No more using XboxHDM 2.2 !!

I have a small
showing it in action.

Hello everybody. I read all of these posts, and I am little bit confused. I am importing 2012 Lancer with MMCS 261UM (US version) is it possible to rewrite it with 261EM in order to get EU firmware and EU maps? And if it is possible, what are the steps? Thank you very much for your help guys......

Think you have two options (maybe, I don't know enough about the differences in hardware between EM and UM):

1. Find a HD with 261EM on it and replace the drive in your unit, then reset the unit.

2. Find a copy of a backup a 261EM and following steps in post #1 in this thread.

It's only a 2Mb upload. I'm planning on yanking the drive with the post-updated files today and posting them as well. It *should* be a simple overwrite to update the maps.

If you have a faster location that I can upload to and share, I'm all for it.

Default 2012 map

I have updated 2010A m190 map in my Outlander. The update was made following your directives guys. Thanks a lot.
But the map little outdated, I'd like to have a new one. There are a lot new and better roads but they aren't in the navi's database.
Is there a new (2012 or sg like that) map?

new: I found something. They say that it's 2011 map. "For those who want new maps (2011), we can get it here: http://fileshare.mindbit.ro/alex/ (User: mitsu, Pass: 1qaz2wsx)" I downloaded it but it's just a 2010 m190 map too.

Is there 2012 map available?
Do you have a download link for that?
Thx a lot

new and latest info:
"M190 are last available at that moment, we are waiting for new maps too"
